Description: Sleep-apnea syndrome is a long-term disease that touch 5-7% of adult population. An important proportion is undiagnosed and treatment follow-up needs long-term monitoring. The goal of the thesis is to propose a very low-power, wearable and non-invasive system that can assess the detection of apnea event as a wake-up device for a stronger monitoring system.
Content: Presentation of the University of Lille followed by an introduction of the thesis subjection. Conclusion with a few words about IEEE Student Branch opportunities and benefits.
Short bio of the presenter: Antoine Gautier, PhD. Student at the University of Lille (ST-IEMN lab, electronics), Diploma: Engineering Degree in Electronics Engineering (2020), Msc. equivalence; School: Institut Supérieur d’Electronique du Nord (ISEN), Lille, France
